What we offer

“The practice of expressive arts gently encourages us to slow down and pay attention, to listen more deeply to self and to be more fully attentive when others are present.” Cindy Casterline, 2010 graduate of the NYEA training program.
More than ever, with news of conflict and suffering in the world nearly overwhelming us by its insistence to be heard, expressive arts offers its generous container to hold our brokenness. Additionally the act of shaping, essential to expressive arts, fuels our capacity to stay with what is happening and if we are open and nurture the flame, we may, over time shape our lives.
